Shipping policy
INTRODUCTION
This policy is designed to act as guidance in respect of the responsibilities placed on Bold Maker (“the seller”) and You (“the buyer”) for any activities surrounding Shipping and Taxes when using the Bold Maker website (“the website”).
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
1 The seller shall bear responsibility for the safe shipment of products sold on the website.
2 The seller shall use all available means to ensure products are packaged in an acceptable manner.
3 The seller shall have sole discretion of utilizing an appropriate Carrier (“the carrier”) service, not limited to United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS, or FedEx.
4 The seller shall bear no responsibility for any shipment once the shipment has been received by the carrier, subject to point 5.
4.1 This extends to any delays in shipment timescales as a result of the services run by the carrier.
5 Responsibility shall only be taken by the seller in the event of a contravention to point 2 of this policy.
6 In the event responsibility for an issue lies with the seller, the seller shall take appropriate steps to remedy such issue, not limited to;
6.1 replacing an order subject to authorization from the CEO of Bold Maker
6.2 considering a refund on the order, subject to authorization from the CEO of Bold Maker.
7 In the event of a shipping issue where responsibility does not lie with the seller, the seller will take appropriate steps to assist in the investigation of any issue, not limited to;
7.1 acting on the buyers behalf
7.2 liaising with the carrier to investigate the issue
7.3 providing evidence to the carrier that the order was shipped appropriately
8 The seller shall ensure that this policy is placed on the website, and made available to anyone who wishes to review this policy.
9 By placing an order on the website, or via a Bold Maker Sales Representative, the buyer agrees to this policy and all contents within.
10 By placing an order on the website, or via a Bold Maker Representative, the buyer agrees to being financially responsible for any shipping charges liable, not limited to;
10.1 shipping charges as displayed on the website
10.2 any additional charges placed on the shipment as a result of additional benefits chosen by the buyer at the time, or after, the transaction is completed (signature required, deliver to an alternative address)
11 The seller shall ensure that any complaint regarding a shipment or order shall be handled within a timescale of 5 business days.
12 Orders placed after business hours for in-stock items will ship on the following business day. Items that are not in-stock or are made to order will be shipped as soon as those products become available.
13 The buyer shall consent to point 11 and allow appropriate time for the seller to investigate any issue.
14 The seller reserves the right to cancel any order at any time, without explanation.
15 The seller agrees to refund the buyer in the event of point 14.
TAXES
16 The buyer agrees to be financially responsible for the payment of any taxes incurred on the order, not limited to;
16.1 State Taxes
16.2 Import Taxes or Duty Fees
17 The seller shall bear no responsibility for any levies or duty placed on the order or shipment at a border anywhere in the world.
18 The seller shall not mark shipments as a gift, or fraudulently amend the contents or financial worth of any package subject to border restrictions.
PROMOTIONS
19 The seller reserves the right to apply shipping promotions at any time.
20 The seller reserves the right to withdraw shipping promotions at any time.
21 In cases of any promotion offering ‘Free Shipping’, the seller retains complete control in choosing a shipping service it deems appropriate.
22 The buyer may use any available discount code, during its validity, for the purpose of shipping, on the understanding of point 21 above.
